01Boilerplate
Short: "Novus Convert is a free file converter that runs entirely in your browser — supported files are never uploaded to a server." Long: "Novus Convert is a free, ad-supported file conversion and compression tool from Novus Stream Solutions. It documents 274 file formats and runs 2,400 conversion routes with WebAssembly engines inside the browser tab, so source files stay on the user's own device. Every output is checked against the real signature of the target format before its download unlocks." Both are written to be quoted verbatim.
02Logo files
The shared Novus silhouette places a white N over a gridded globe with three tools in orbit. Convert's source file, bidirectional arrows, and compressed archive distinguish this edition. The SVGs are resolution independent; the transparent PNG and install icons are rendered from that same canonical vector.
03Using the name and the mark
The product is "Novus Convert" — two words, capital N and capital C, never "NovusConvert" or "Novus convert". The operator is Novus Stream Solutions (a sole proprietorship trading as Novus Stream Solutions). Please do not recolour, rotate, stretch, add effects to, or place the mark inside another shape; do not use it as your own icon; and do not use it in a way that implies partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement. Linking to a page while showing the logo is fine and welcome.
04Brand colours
The canonical Novus gradient runs blue #3B82F6 through cyan #22D3EE at 55% to violet #8B5CF6. Install icons use the navy tile gradient #0C1428 to #151D3D, and the spark is #22D3EE. Preserve the stop order and use the supplied files rather than approximating the mark.
05Facts you can verify
Free to use with no account and no watermark, funded by advertising. 274 documented formats, 255 of them convertible in the browser, 2,400 working routes — all published from the same registry the software runs on, and all checkable against the conversion directory and format directory. Conversions run client-side in WebAssembly. Operated by Novus Stream Solutions in London, Ontario, Canada. Installable as a progressive web app and usable offline once loaded.
06Claims we would rather you did not make for us
We do not publish an uptime figure, do not claim every file format on earth, and do not describe the conversions as AI. Some formats in the directory are documented but not convertible in this release, and that distinction is labelled on every page — please keep it if you quote a total. The status page explains why a percentage would be unearned.
