After acceptance, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and a property-specific _ga cookie. Analytics cookies are deleted and disabled when non-essential storage is rejected.
Adsterra may set advertising cookies or use similar identifiers to serve, frequency-cap, and measure display, native, and sponsor-page advertising. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland these scripts and export sponsor links stay blocked until you accept non-essential storage. Everywhere else they load by default, and rejecting non-essential storage stops them. Legal and consent pages remain ad-free. You can change this anytime with Manage cookies in the footer.
When the browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Novus Convert treats it as an advertising and analytics opt-out. Both stay denied even if this browser previously stored an acceptance. The signal does not silently rewrite that saved choice; turning GPC off restores the choice shown under Manage cookies.
The banner is shown to every visitor who has not answered it, in every region. What differs is what is already running behind it. Where prior consent is legally required — decided from the country of your connection at page load — advertising and analytics have not loaded at all and stay off until you accept. Everywhere else advertising is already active and the banner is how you turn it off. The country itself is not stored or shared; only the yes-or-no answer is kept for the current browser tab so the check does not repeat on every page. The same controls stay available from Manage cookies in the footer, and opening them only shows your current setting — nothing changes until you choose.
Rejecting non-essential storage stores the choice, deletes the analytics cookies, and stops advertising from loading again. When ad scripts had already run, the page is reloaded, because that is the only thing that removes what those scripts placed on the page — moving to another page on this site does not clear them. If files are waiting in your converter queue, you are asked first: those files and their results exist only in your browser's memory and reloading discards them, so you decide whether to reload now or keep working and clear them yourself later. Your answer is stored either way, and nothing new loads after it.
While advertising is allowed, every individual file export and ZIP export opens an Adsterra sponsor page in a new browser tab. It never replaces the converter tab. If the browser blocks that tab, the queue offers a clearly labelled sponsor link instead. Rejecting non-essential storage turns both paths off.
Source and output files remain in temporary browser memory and are not stored in cookies or local storage.
Use Manage cookies in the site footer to reopen the consent controls at any time.
